Job description
EY is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Advisor for their Business Tax Advisory team in Warsaw, with opportunities to work in Gdańsk and Poznań. The role involves providing comprehensive tax consulting services to corporate clients, focusing on financial, energy, and private equity sectors, with complex tax advisory, restructuring, and international taxation responsibilities.
Primary responsibilities include providing ongoing tax advisory services to Polish and international clients, preparing individual interpretation requests, drafting tax opinions, offering tax consulting during restructuring and key transactions, assessing and monitoring tax risks, implementing tax regulation changes, building tax procedures and processes, supporting tax proceedings before tax authorities and administrative courts, supervising junior consultants, and participating in marketing initiatives.
Required experience includes minimum 3-5 years of professional tax advisory experience, higher education preferably in law, finance, or economics, excellent Polish and English language skills (minimum B2 level), and advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel. Candidates with tax advisor qualifications or those in the process of obtaining them are preferred, along with accounting principles knowledge.
