Job description
EY offers a unique work-study program for tax students in the International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) department. As a work-study student, you'll support tax teams, gain practical experience in international tax law, and have the opportunity to develop both soft skills and professional expertise while potentially transitioning into a future consulting role.
Primary responsibilities include supporting tax teams by researching and informing clients about tax forms, opportunities, consequences, and obligations in international taxation. Work-study students will actively participate in client accounts, conduct tax research, and contribute to advisory documentation.
Ideal candidates are pursuing a tax-related degree (such as Tax Law or Tax Economics) in their final bachelor or master phase. No prior experience is required, but motivation and affinity for international tax law are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English are crucial, with the ability to work in a multicultural, international team environment.
EY offers an exceptional opportunity for professional development, including personal mentorship, intensive soft skills training, and the chance to build a professional network. The work-study program provides insights into international tax consulting, with potential future opportunities to work with EY's global Dutch Desk network in locations like New York, London, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
