Flink is seeking a Junior Category Manager to help grow product categories within their dry assortment. The ideal candidate will manage product selection, pricing, and negotiation with suppliers while working closely with multiple departments to drive growth and profitability.
The primary responsibilities include growing product categories within dry assortment by strategically selecting product ranges, determining selling prices and discounts, presenting products in the app, and developing activation strategies both in and out of the app. The role involves independent deal negotiations with A-brand suppliers and developing a supplier network with a focus on retail media and trade marketing.
Required experience includes 1+ years of work as a buyer, category manager, or key account manager in food or non-food industries, preferably in dry assortment. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Business Management or similar, demonstrable experience in making pragmatic business decisions, and working proficiency (C1 level) in both English and German.
