Job description
G-Research is seeking an HPC Validation and Performance Engineer to develop and optimize validation frameworks for their high-performance computing infrastructure. The role involves driving performance benchmarking, implementing advanced tooling, and ensuring system readiness for AI/ML and HPC workloads across multiple architectures.
As a critical member of the Infrastructure Engineering team, the primary responsibilities include architecting a comprehensive validation framework for GPU nodes, developing automated testing tools, and implementing continuous performance monitoring across distributed environments. The engineer will lead efforts to identify and resolve system performance bottlenecks using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
The ideal candidate must possess deep technical expertise in compute, storage, and networking optimizations. Required skills include extensive experience with GPU performance profiling, NVIDIA ClusterKit, system benchmarking tools, and advanced programming in Python and Go. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana, and experience with HPC workloads in distributed global environments are essential.
