Job description
Gartner is seeking an experienced Account Executive for its Public Sector sales division, focusing on providing strategic insights to CIOs and CTOs in government, education, defense, and healthcare. The role requires consulting with high-level executives to expand and optimize Gartner's product and service delivery.
Primary responsibilities involve managing enterprise-level client accounts in the public sector, maintaining a sales quota of $800,000+, executing Gartner's sales methodology, and consistently delivering strategic consulting to C-level executives.
Required experience includes 5-12 years of consultative sales experience in high technology, proven success in sales, strong executive presence, and ability to build relationships with large enterprise organizations. Candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of the full sales lifecycle and preferably hold a bachelor's or master's degree.
