Job description
An opportunity to join GIC's European Private Equity Funds & Co-investments Group in London, working on assessing and executing fund commitments and co-investments across various strategies. The role is a three-year contract for professionals with investment experience seeking to work with one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds.
Primary responsibilities include working in small deal teams to assess and execute Private Equity fund commitments and co-investments across various strategies, countries, and industries. Associates will present investment proposals to Investment Committees, monitor and maintain relationships with existing managers, source potential new fund managers, represent GIC at investor meetings, and work on special projects related to strategy and portfolio planning.
Candidates must have a strong academic background with at least 1.5 years of work experience at a leading investment bank, consulting firm, or private equity firm. Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills are crucial, along with strong commercial judgment, the ability to engage with senior counterparties, and demonstrate integrity and teamwork.
GIC offers a unique opportunity to work at a leading global long-term investor with over 2,000 employees worldwide. The role provides exposure to an extraordinary network of industry leaders, a hybrid working model with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote, and the chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic, globally-oriented investment environment.
