Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to their Asset Management Division's ETF platform. The role involves collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, and operations to design, implement, and support new ETF products and operational improvements.
This role involves being a major contributor to the ETF platform build-out, taking projects from analysis and design through implementation and go-live. The engineer will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to understand product requirements and identify efficiency improvements.
Candidates must have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a computer science degree, strong backend Java development skills, frontend JavaScript experience, and the ability to collaborate directly with stakeholders. Experience in asset management, particularly in Equities, Fixed Income, and ETFs, is highly valued. The role requires comfort with a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and global team collaboration.
