Job description
HSBC seeks an experienced Area Wealth Manager to lead and build customer-first wealth management strategies in the Kent area. The role requires a qualified financial professional with expertise in holistic financial planning, strong regulatory knowledge, and ability to coach and mentor wealth management teams.
The primary responsibilities include implementing wealth management strategies, achieving business objectives, leading teams, and delivering needs-based financial solutions to clients. The role involves being accountable for team compliance, sales quality, and professional standards while influencing partners to maximize wealth opportunities.
Required experience includes QCF Level 4 qualification, Competent Adviser Status (CAS) under UK FCA jurisdiction, expert knowledge in financial planning and wealth products, and demonstrable market awareness. Candidates must understand conduct risks, HSBC business standards, and be able to maintain professional competency through continuous assessment and professional development.
