Job description
A critical role in HSBC's Wealth Management team responsible for implementing strategic objectives, leading a team of Wealth Managers and Analysts, and delivering comprehensive financial planning solutions to clients across the London region.
Primary responsibilities include being accountable for team compliance, sales quality, and professional standards, acting as the first line of defense in delivering principled business standards. The role involves maximizing wealth opportunities, managing team performance, and ensuring customers are serviced by appropriate advisors in line with the bank's strategy.
The ideal candidate must possess QCF Level 4 qualification with FCA Activity 4 credentials, currently hold Competent Adviser Status under UK FCA jurisdiction, and demonstrate extensive market awareness. Strong understanding of conduct risks, HSBC business standards, and expert knowledge in holistic financial planning and wealth products are essential. The role requires someone who can develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
