Job description
A pivotal role supporting HSBC's Regional Information Security Officer in executing cybersecurity strategy across the UK region. The successful candidate will collaborate with cybersecurity teams, identify and articulate regional risks, and ensure comprehensive information security monitoring and reporting.
As a Cybersecurity Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Regional Information Security Officer in driving the Group Information Security and Cybersecurity strategy. Your primary responsibilities include collaborating with regional cybersecurity team members to collate and report on information security controls, identifying and understanding critical regional assets, threats, and vulnerabilities.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT security governance, preferably within financial services, with a background in risk management, audit, or information security risk. You should possess industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications such as ISO270001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC. Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, excellent people management experience, and a flexible, adaptable approach are essential.
