Job description
A senior sales role within HSBC Asset Management focusing on growing the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) liquidity business. The position requires a director-level sales professional with deep knowledge of financial markets, targeting institutional clients and expanding asset under management through strategic liquidity product sales.
Primary responsibilities include assisting the FIG sales head in developing and implementing tactical sales strategies for liquidity products in the Treasury Segment. The role involves pro-actively identifying and acquiring new business, with a focus on maximizing revenue growth by increasing Assets Under Management (AUM) from key UK decision makers such as Finance Directors and Regional Treasurers.
The ideal candidate must possess significant product knowledge of liquidity investments, including treasury, cash, and short-term investment management products. Candidates should be successful director-level sales professionals with deep understanding of the Financial Institutions client space within Global Markets. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial, with the ability to establish a 'Trusted Advisor' status among senior stakeholders.
