An opportunity to work in a private equity accounting team within group finance, responsible for accounting, financial control, and reporting of bank's private equity and fund investments across UK, Australia, and Hong Kong. The role offers exposure to senior management and involves complex financial analysis and reporting.
Primary responsibilities include ensuring general ledger integrity, developing budget and forecast models, performing investment valuations, reviewing investment documentation, preparing periodic reports, monitoring financial exposures, preparing statutory accounts, and supporting accounting functions across different business units.
Required experience includes being a qualified accountant with several years of post-qualification experience, preferably in financial services with private equity experience. Essential skills include excellent communication, IFRS knowledge, strong Excel skills, ability to interact confidently with senior management, and familiarity with financial systems like JDE and Essbase.
