Investec is seeking a UK Tech Head of Data Governance to lead the establishment and implementation of a comprehensive data governance framework. The role focuses on collaboration, education, and advocacy to enhance data quality, compliance, security, and AI readiness across technology teams.
The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing a robust data governance framework that covers data quality, protection, privacy, and lifecycle management. The role involves establishing clear policies, procedures, and standards while fostering a culture of responsible data management across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data governance, a strong understanding of data protection laws, and extensive knowledge of the financial services industry. They must demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to build consensus, and excellent communication capabilities to engage effectively with stakeholders across different organizational levels.
