Job description
A critical role overseeing building maintenance and operations for JP Morgan's facilities, requiring extensive technical expertise in electrical systems, maintenance management, and compliance monitoring. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive supervision of vendor activities, ensure operational excellence, and maintain high standards of building infrastructure and safety.
Primary responsibilities include traveling within the JP Morgan buildings portfolio to provide vendor management oversight, conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and handling helpdesk calls. The role involves managing operational functions, monitoring building assets and systems, issuing work permits, ensuring compliance with EHS and statutory requirements, and producing comprehensive monthly operational reports.
Required experience includes an Indentured Apprenticeship, City & Guilds electrical certifications, and extensive experience in critical maintenance environments. Candidates must demonstrate advanced technical knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), UPS, emergency generation, electrical and mechanical distribution systems, and air conditioning. Strong leadership qualities, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to different regulatory environments are essential.
