Job description
JLL offers a 6-week Building Surveying Summer Internship in Cardiff for university students passionate about real estate and sustainability. Interns will work with professional surveyors, gain hands-on experience in site inspections and maintenance planning, with potential for a future graduate role.
As a Building Surveying Intern, you will work alongside expert Building Surveying specialists, gaining crucial first-hand experience in site inspections, survey research, preventative maintenance planning, and portfolio coordination. This role offers hands-on exposure to real estate professional work, allowing interns to develop practical skills in building assessment and management.
The ideal candidate must be pursuing a BSc or MSc in Building Surveying (RICS accredited), currently in their penultimate year of university. Strong academic performance is essential, with a requirement of GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English and Maths. Candidates should demonstrate a curious mindset, passion for sustainability, and eagerness to contribute innovative ideas in the building surveying domain. Technical understanding of survey methodologies, maintenance planning, and a genuine interest in real estate sustainability are crucial for success.
