JLL is seeking a fire engineer to join their Fire & Building Safety team. This role involves working with surveyors and engineers to deliver advisory and project-related services throughout the property lifecycle, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on building safety, transactions, and remediation works across the UK.
Primary responsibilities include conducting comprehensive fire safety surveys, producing fire strategy reports, inspecting buildings for fire safety issues, and recommending remedial works. Engineers will review technical and statutory building issues, conduct peer reviews, manage fire engineering projects, and support design teams with technical solutions.
The role requires a relevant engineering degree, professional accreditation with IFE (preferably Chartered or Incorporated), demonstrable professional experience in fire engineering, and strong computational modeling skills. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and within teams.
