The role involves conducting comprehensive property valuations across the North East and North West of the UK, focusing on residential assets ranging from single properties to large investment portfolios. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in property valuation with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, complex valuation reports.
Primary responsibilities include conducting detailed residential property valuations across various asset types, performing comprehensive assessments for loan security, financial statements, acquisitions, and client decision-making processes. Valuations will involve multiple approaches including comparable market analysis, discounted cash flow, and residual appraisals.
Required experience includes holding an MRICS qualification, being a RICS Registered Valuer with 1-2+ years of post-qualification experience. Strong technical skills are needed in MS Office systems, data analysis, report writing, and handling large datasets. Excellent communication skills for explaining valuation methodologies and building client relationships are crucial.
