Job description
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their Climate, Nature, and Social Risk Modelling team. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytical skills to develop and refine climate risk models, collaborating with economists and climate scientists to assess global economic risks related to climate change.
This role involves establishing transmission channels between assessment models, developing climate and nature risk scenarios, and continuously improving macroeconomic models to capture climate and nature risk complexities. Key responsibilities include scenario analysis, model development, and integrating macroeconomic insights into broader risk strategies.
The ideal candidate must have an advanced degree in Economics, Environmental Economics, or Climate Science, with demonstrated experience in macroeconomic forecasting and climate risk analysis. Strong proficiency in econometric software like R, Stata, MATLAB, and Python is essential. Candidates should possess advanced statistical modeling techniques and the ability to interpret complex data and model outputs.
