As a Technical Energy Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include undertaking comprehensive energy surveys, delivering sustainability services of a technical nature, including EPC certificates, Energy Audits, Net Zero Carbon Audits, and ESOS reports. You will be responsible for utilizing certificates, reports, and building models to develop strategic net zero pathway action plans, analyzing energy profiles, assessing performance, generating insights, and producing detailed reports that help clients understand and improve their energy efficiency.
The role requires a professional with at least 2 years of experience in the energy/carbon field, working towards a professional qualification such as CIBSE or IEMA. Candidates should have advanced knowledge of carbon legislation, regulation, certifications, and the broader sustainability agenda. Strong communication skills, proficiency in client interactions, and excellent English language skills are essential. Experience with BREEAM In-Use assessments and familiarity with technical energy reporting and compliance frameworks will be highly valued.
