Job description
A 6-month internship opportunity at Lazard Frères Gestion, a leading asset management firm in France, focusing on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) analysis. The internship offers an opportunity to contribute to sustainable finance strategies across different investment teams, including Asset Management, working on ESG integration, strategic development, and engagement initiatives.
The primary responsibilities include developing ESG strategies, participating in strategic growth discussions, preparing ESG committees, training teams and clients on ESG themes, analyzing financial and climate-related challenges, conducting quantitative extra-financial data analysis, and maintaining dialogue with data providers. The intern will also contribute to internal and external ESG communications through newsletters, social media publications, and collaborative industry engagements.
Required experience includes being a student from a top business or engineering school, preferably in the final stages of studies or during a gap year, with a strong interest in sustainable finance. Candidates should have knowledge of ESG regulations, excellent English proficiency, analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information. Prior experience in finance, particularly asset management, would be advantageous.
