Job description
Legal & General is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join its Procurement team in Hove. The role involves supporting the Category Lead in driving efficient sourcing strategies across various categories, including outsourcing, technology solutions, and customer-facing services. This position is part of a three-year transformation strategy aimed at creating a Procurement Centre of Excellence.
Primary responsibilities include managing procurement activities across categories such as IT, marketing, property, and workplace, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and implementing procurement strategies, and engaging in supplier negotiations and contract management.
The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement experience, demonstrating expertise in various categories, strong collaboration and communication skills, and a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and working with cross-functional teams is essential.
