As an intern with Macquarie Capital Benelux, you will support the Dutch team by analyzing potential investment opportunities, including valuation, business planning, market analysis, and due diligence. Interns will assist in researching potential transactions, identifying investment targets, and potentially supporting live transaction execution in mergers, acquisitions, and divestments.
Ideal candidates are motivated students in their final year or gap year from top business or engineering schools, with exceptional language skills in Dutch and English. Previous internship experience in corporate finance advisory, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, transaction services, leveraged finance, or audit is highly advantageous. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning are essential.
Macquarie offers a comprehensive internship experience with benefits including hybrid working arrangements, one wellbeing leave day, minimum 25 days of annual leave, potential for paid leave for primary and secondary carers, volunteer leave, donation matching, and robust employee support programs. The internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global financial services group with a track record of 54 years of unbroken profitability.
