In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for building and maintaining the technological platform that powers Man Group's hedge funds. Primary responsibilities include managing large internal data centres, running Python at scale, building and managing infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud, and automating technology solutions for thousands of users across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have technical experience gained through open-source maintenance, relevant industry experience, or a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. Required skills include programming languages like Python, C#, Java, understanding source control and continuous deployment workflows, experience administering operating systems, and knowledge of cloud technologies.
