Moody's is seeking a detail-oriented quantitative professional to assess corporate risk models and perform critical model validations in a global, dynamic environment. The role involves performing critical assessments of corporate risk models, scrutinizing model adequacy, identifying potential limitations, constructing challenger models, and communicating assessment results to key stakeholders. Primary responsibilities include validating complex financial models, generating detailed validation reports, conducting ad-hoc analyses, and creating tools to automate validation workflows.
The candidate must have a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science, with a strong foundation in quantitative modeling and econometrics. Essential technical skills include proficiency in R, Python, SQL, GitHub, and experience handling extensive datasets. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, analytical curiosity, and the capability to explain complex technical details clearly.
