Job description
Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a subject matter expert in Service/Vendor Management. The role involves managing third-party relationships, risk assessment, and supporting strategic initiatives within the Operations division, with a focus on governance, process improvement, and team leadership.
As a Service/Vendor Management Director, you will be responsible for governance of third-party relationships, managing onboarding and ongoing monitoring of third-party services throughout their lifecycle. This involves strategic project support, from short-term assessments to large-scale change risk initiatives, with a critical focus on maintaining effective controls and developing client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of operational and compliance policies, demonstrate the ability to operate independently, and possess at least 4 years of relevant experience. You should be capable of problem-solving, recognizing risks, and implementing improvements, with strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example across the Operations team.
