Job description
Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced Technology Risk & Controls Vice President to support the CRO in managing technology risks across infrastructure and network security domains. The role involves leading risk management activities, enhancing controls, and ensuring operational continuity in a complex financial technology environment.
Primary responsibilities include deputizing for the CRO at senior committees, supporting technology domain risk management, leading risk and control enhancement initiatives, and driving improvements in technology governance, information security, and cyber security processes. The role requires actively participating in senior working groups and forums to maintain comprehensive technology risk perspectives.
Required experience includes a strong background in technology operations, infrastructure management, network security, and technology oversight in a complex financial institution. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, report writing capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial legislation, technology risk management frameworks like ITIL, CobiT, and NIST. Technical qualifications such as CISSP, CRISC, or ITIL are highly desired.
