Job description
NielsenIQ seeks an experienced Data Science Market Leader to drive data science solutions in the consumer insights and market research domain. The role involves developing advanced statistical methodologies, collaborating with product and commercial teams, and delivering high-quality data insights for global clients in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
As a Data Science Market Leader, your primary responsibilities include acting as a strategic business partner to Commercial, Product, and Operations leaders, solving complex data problems, and driving the roll-out of enhanced data science services. You will investigate industry standards, develop process improvements, and collaborate closely with teams to test and implement innovative solutions that improve data quality and client deliverables.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum B.S. in a quantitative field with 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in FMCG. Strong technical skills in statistical packages like R/Python, Excel, and excellent data management capabilities are essential. You should demonstrate an exceptional aptitude for data analysis, creative problem-solving, and the ability to interpret complex data using advanced statistical methodologies.
