PJT Partners is seeking a Senior Analyst/Junior Associate for their Oil & Gas and Energy Transition team. The role involves working directly with companies on strategic and financial advisory projects, offering exposure to a wide range of transactions and close collaboration with senior practitioners in the energy sector.
The primary responsibilities include financial analysis, modeling, and executing complex transactions across the Oil & Gas and Energy Transition sectors, involving mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic advisory work. The professional will be directly staffed on client teams, conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, and contract negotiations.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, minimum 2 years of investment banking experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team. Technical skills in financial modeling, research, and presentation preparation are crucial. Experience in exploration & production and broader energy sector knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
