PwC Luxembourg is seeking an experienced Actuary to join their Actuarial and Risk Modelling Services (ARMS) team. The role involves complex actuarial consulting projects across Luxembourg and European markets, focusing on life insurance reserving, reporting, risk, and capital modeling.
The primary responsibilities include providing actuarial support to audit practice, delivering actuarial consulting services including reserves review, reporting, risk and capital modeling, supporting M&A and due-diligence projects, designing emerging risk models, and managing consulting projects with external and internal clients.
The ideal candidate must have a qualification or be close to becoming a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, with at least 6 years of experience in life insurance reserving, assets and liabilities modeling, and capital or risk modeling. Strong understanding of Luxembourg GAAP, Solvency II, and IFRS17 is required, along with commercial awareness of insurance industry regulatory issues.
