PwC is seeking a highly motivated Banking Risk Manager for their Advisory team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will assist clients with regulatory compliance, focusing on risk management, capital adequacy, and governance across financial institutions.
As a Banking Risk Manager, your primary responsibilities will include delivering tailor-made solutions to clients, helping them comply with regulatory requirements from European Central Bank, European Banking Authority, and other financial regulators. You will assist clients in key areas such as risk management, capital and liquidity, ESG, governance, controls, risk data and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have up to 6 years of experience in banking or consulting, with strong expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial regulations. A university degree in Risk, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Law is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead teams, take initiative, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively in both English and Greek.
