Job description
PwC is seeking a dynamic professional for their Financial Institutions Group Deals team in Madrid. The role involves conducting financial due diligence, advising on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions, and working closely with financial sector clients including banks, insurers, and investment funds.
Primary responsibilities include performing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, providing advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, strategic divestments and alliances, developing complex financial models, preparing and reviewing carve-outs, and engaging directly with clients' financial, strategy, and corporate development departments.
Required experience includes 6-12 years in financial sector audit, financial consulting, business valuation, or M&A modeling. Candidates must have a university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Law, possess near-native English proficiency (C1-C2), demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, commercial acumen, excellent communication abilities, proactivity, and a commitment to professional growth.
