Job description
PwC Belgium is seeking an experienced Actuary with minimum 5 years of non-life insurance experience to join their Actuarial Services team. The role involves supporting clients in insurance risk management, technical accounting standards, and providing strategic consulting across various insurance-related domains.
Primary responsibilities include helping clients assess and implement IFRS 17 standards, developing insurance department service offerings, supporting audit departments with technical insurance provisions, managing insurance projects, training staff, and establishing client relationships.
Required experience includes being a qualified actuary with minimum 5 years non-life experience, proven project management skills, technical expertise in areas like BGAAP/IFRS17/Solvency II, reserving, pricing, process automation, and audit. Candidates must be fluent in English and French/Dutch, possess strong critical thinking, and have ability to communicate complex technical matters effectively.
