Job description
PwC is seeking an experienced Penetration Tester with at least 3 years of cybersecurity experience to identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a passion for protecting client systems from potential security threats.
As a Penetration Tester at PwC, you will conduct comprehensive security assessments including thorough penetration tests on web applications, networks, and systems. Your primary responsibilities will involve identifying security vulnerabilities, developing and executing detailed test plans, including social engineering assessments and red team exercises. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure robust security practices are implemented across client environments.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in penetration testing or related cybersecurity roles. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of security testing tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Bash. Familiarity with OWASP Top Ten, cloud security practices, and relevant certifications like OSCP or CISSP are highly valued. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of emerging security trends are critical for success in this position.
