Job description
PwC is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to provide sophisticated financial and accounting advisory services for financial institutions. The role focuses on delivering complex accounting guidance, implementing accounting standards, and supporting regulatory compliance across banks, investment funds, and insurance companies.
As a Senior Consultant, you will provide comprehensive financial and accounting advisory services, including delivering expert accounting advice to financial institutions on complex topics, supporting banks and insurance companies in implementing new accounting standards, conducting workshops and training sessions, preparing IFRS financial statements, offering deals and post-merger accounting support, and improving reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Accounting/Finance, minimum 3-4 years of financial audit or banking/insurance experience, strong accounting knowledge (particularly in IFRS standards like IFRS 3, IFRS 9, IFRS 16), preferably ACCA qualified or in progress. Strong communication skills, adaptability, eagerness to learn, and technical proficiency are crucial for success in this role.
