Job description
Santander seeks an experienced Cyber Threats Intelligence professional to join their Cybersecurity department in Boadilla, Spain. The role involves detecting, analyzing, and responding to external digital threats, protecting the organization's information and reputation using advanced monitoring techniques across digital platforms.
Primary responsibilities include continuous monitoring of digital platforms for signs of threats such as phishing, malware, information leaks, and suspicious activities impacting the brand or company VIPs. This involves tracking malicious activities on the internet, social media, and the Dark Web, using advanced tools and techniques to provide detection and remediation measures that prevent potential security incidents.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong technical skills in threat monitoring, OSINT techniques, and threat analysis tools. Required competencies include proficiency in data analysis, Python scripting, social media and Dark Web surveillance, and the ability to extract relevant security insights from large data volumes. Excellent communication skills for preparing detailed executive and technical reports are crucial.
