Santander CIB is seeking a senior trade finance professional to help expand their Global Transaction Banking business in the Netherlands and Belgium. The role requires an entrepreneurial banker with proven experience in trade and working capital finance solutions, capable of driving strategic client relationships and generating new business opportunities.
Primary responsibilities include managing a portfolio of blue-chip corporate clients, proactively identifying and originating trade finance solutions across the Netherlands and Belgium, developing new business opportunities in documentary trade, supply chain finance, receivables solutions, and other financial products.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of relevant banking experience, a master's degree, deep understanding of trade finance, strong commercial skills, and the ability to manage complex client relationships across diverse cultural environments. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with French or Spanish being advantageous.
