Job description
Shell is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Advisor to manage complex customer credit relationships, assess creditworthiness, and provide strategic risk-based advice. The ideal candidate will have extensive financial analysis skills and the ability to balance business objectives with risk management across high-value customer portfolios.
Primary responsibilities include managing high-risk customer credit relationships, participating in commercial deal processes, conducting credit risk analysis, establishing credit limits, and recommending credit terms. The role involves close collaboration with sales, finance, and legal teams to optimize business returns while maintaining robust risk management practices.
The role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in credit risk or financial analysis, with a strong background in finance, accounting, or related business fields. Candidates must demonstrate advanced financial statement analysis skills, excellent commercial acumen, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to make critical decisions while maintaining customer relationships.
