Job description
A quantitative risk modeling role in the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) domain at Société Générale's Risk Management division. The ideal candidate will develop climate risk models, conduct impact studies, and contribute to the bank's ESG risk strategy with strong technical and analytical skills.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing environmental risk tools, designing and calibrating quantitative climate risk models, producing impact studies and coherence checks for climate risk parameters, and conducting climate stress tests for the Société Générale group.
Required experience includes a Master's degree (Engineering or equivalent) with at least five years of experience in risk modeling or ESG, strong data science techniques, knowledge of statistical and probabilistic models, proficiency in programming languages like Python and R, and familiarity with the banking environment.
