Standard Chartered Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager for its Public Sector team in Frankfurt. This role involves strategic client management for major public sector clients in Continental Europe, focusing on building high-level relationships with government entities, development agencies, and multilateral organizations.
This role is responsible for leading client relationship management for a portfolio of major public sector clients across Continental Europe. Key responsibilities include originating and managing client relationships with Central Banks, Ministries of Finance, government bodies, development agencies, and multilateral organizations. The role requires comprehensive engagement across Transaction Banking, Financial Markets, and Banking products to deliver tailored solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Banking or Finance, with preferably 7+ years of experience in banking or relationship management in the Financial Institutions sector. Strong expertise in public sector clients, solid understanding of banking products, excellent business acumen, and strong analytical skills are essential. The role demands robust business origination skills and multilingual capabilities, with fluency in English and German being mandatory.
